I think this new technology will be useful because school-age children are already familiar with technology. Aslo i think it will enhance computer skills to prepare them for the future, one I'm sure will be an age of technology.

What new educational Applications are available?

So this educational iTouch comes with many educational applications. Some are listed below...

iHomework is a self explanatory application. This allows comunication between students and teachers reguarding homework assignments. And it also comes with a checklist of all the student's homework.

The Graphing Calculator App allows you to turn your iTouch into a high-tech graphing calculator. It will save students the money usually spent on such a calculator, because the application only costs 0.99 cents.

The Art App allows you to explore many famous artists, all in one simple gallery. It also comes with quizzes and facts about each artist.

Evernote is a new way to take notes during lectures by using voice recorings, pictures and text.

With the Amazon Kindle App, the user can view E-books online as well as buy and download them onto thier ipods.

The Fitness App allows the user to track thier exercise time, and calories burned. It also features nutritional facts and information about the body and wieght.

The educational iTouch also comes with all the standard applications that are in an iTouch such as the Scientific Calculator, Email, and Calander.

A New Technology

Ok...so here I am sitting in class, and I'm ,of course, counting the minutes until the bell rings. Math? BOORRRIINNG!! Science? Barly holds my attention...but there is one thing that I can put up with for hours, one thing all teenagers know and love...you guessed it...TECHNOLOGY! So I'm asking myself, why havn't schools incorperated more technology into our curriculum? I don't know about you, but I live plugged into my Ipod, I am always talking/texting on my phone. If I had to estimate, I would say I spend 90% of my life with technology, so why not invest a few of those hours into education? Why not make learning slightly less horrible? So I looked and searched the internet, and I found...
